Salads

Hi! With the weather finally starting to heat up I've started eating more salads. I find that I tend to eat them more in summer as the ingredients are in season, it's easy to make and it's a cold meal (great for those hot days) which is why I thought I'd share my favorite, basic salad recipe with you. It's really simple and you can change it up depending on what you have in the fridge! I also like to make two portions of this and store it in the fridge so I have lunch prepared for two days, the only thing that I keep separate is the croutons as it prevents them from going soft.

For the salad- 


To make the croutons- Chop up your bread (any type will work) then put some olive oil on it. Finally put it in the oven for 15 minutes (until golden and crispy) then remove and allow to cool.




Just put all your ingredients and the croutons together and you're good to go!
