Three Free Image Sites

Hello! I recently made what I'd consider to be a pretty big discovery so I thought it warranted a post. If you've got a blog then chances are you know all about how important having at least one, good quality image per post is. It appears as the Bloglovin', Linkwithin and Popular Post thumbnail, breaks up content and just all round makes your blog look better. That being said it's really annoying when you've got your whole post ready to go, it's dark outside and you realise that you don't have an image. That's where these free image sites come in. They've got a whole lot of free to use, high quality, good looking images that're great for forgetful people like me!

So the first two websites contain images and the last one has a whole bunch of really cool, mainly geometric patterns. All the websites tell you who the photographer was so if you really like any of the pictures it's pretty easy to see if there's anything else by that person.

1. Unsplash-  This sites probably my favourite just because of how amazing the images are. The site has "10 new photos every 10 days" so you're not going to get stuck having to use the same old photo.  Something else that Unsplash allows you to do is contribute images and add to the site. Anyway, here's a bunch of my favourites from the site...

2. Barn Images- The images on here are pretty diverse but there's categories and a search bar to make it easy to find an image if you've already got something in mind. Again, here's some of my favourites...

3. The Pattern Library- This one, as the name suggests, contains a whole bunch of patterns, all of which would be perfect to incorporate into the design of your blog. Like Unsplash you can contribute to the site fairly easily. Something to note though is that some of the patterns are repeated, so when you download them it looks like you've just got a fraction of the image but in fact if you tiled it, it would look normal. There's not a tonne of patterns on the site (relative to the other two) but all the ones that are there look amazing. Here's some proof...

Thanks for reading!! I hope you enjoyed the post, let me know what image sites you turn to in the comments!!
