Watermelon + Ice = Wice

Since the weather's starting to warm up significantly now, I thought it would be the perfect time to post a summer recipe. I actually intended to post it last summer but never got round to it, but better late than never, right? :) Anyway chances are you've seen this recipe or something similar to it floating around on pinterest since it's pretty popular. That being said I'd never really tried frozen fruit by its self, purely because it's a whole lot easier to just eat the fruit! However, frozen grapes, as well as watermelon (this recipe!), to me, make sense to freeze.

Grapes are just really practical since you can chuck a tonne of zip-lock bags filled with grapes in the freezer, then just take one out and you're good to go (this also makes for a really quick breakfast!). As for watermelon, unless you're really hungry or are feeding loads of people then chances are you'll be struggling to eat the whole thing (unless of course you buy half, but let's just ignore that option!). This is where the freezer and recipe come in.

If you're looking for a quick, healthy, summer snack that only requires one ingredient (and still tastes good!) then here's how to make what I like to call wice (watermelon and ice, creative huh?)  Also, I just used a whole watermelon but feel free to do as much or as little as you like.

Thanks for reading!! Let me know if you try out the recipe. Also, for this post I really tried to work on the photos and sort of turned them into the post/a main feature of the post. So what I'm wondering is what do you think of this style of post? I'd love to know!!
