Revisiting the Resolutions | February 2016

I'm a firm believer in the idea that to achieve your goals you need to have them in your face. That you need to be constantly reminded of them so you still have the drive and motivation to put the effort into achieving them.

This logic is the reason that I'm checking in with my NY's resolutions in February. I'd actually planned to review them every month but then at the end of January figured I'd read so many inspiring NY's resolution posts that I was motivated enough for the month to work towards achieving my goals! That being said it's been almost two months since setting my NY's resolutions and I think it's time to evaluate how they're going. If you missed the original post, you can catch up here!
>> 2016

In the same order, here goes-

1. Start blogging more

I definitely think I'm keeping on track with this one! I've kept on track with my Wednesday and Saturday posting schedule and that's something I'm really proud of!
2. Use a planner... the whole year
This one hasn't been too hard but that might just be cause we're only two months into 2016! In terms of the new planning system that I was super excited about: it failed. Miserably. I'll probably write another post about that some time though. The other thing is now I've been seeing so so many posts about Bullet Journalling, and I actually think it's got my name written on it. That being said I've got my 2016 planner all set up now so I've decided to stick with that for the year. All whilst just looking at, and saving everyone else's Bullet Journalling posts to a Pinterest board.
3. Keep my notes neat
I've been trying so incredibly hard with this! I even started using the Cornell note system and colour coding stuff but my system could definitely do with a few tweaks! Let me know if you'd be interested in seeing a post on this though!
4. Do more with my time
I've definitely signed up for more things this year. Between extra-curriculars, school and blogging I think this year's definitely going to be a busy one! It'll be interesting to see how it goes but I'm definitely looking forward to the challenge! It also means that my efficiency rates are going to have to sky rocket... hopefully that happens sooner rather than later... Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

So that's all! The four things I wanted to focus on at the start of this year, are still present. Which is great, because let's face it, it's as easy as brushing your teeth to just abandon NY's resolutions. For me at least, anyone else?

I'd love to know how you're getting on with your resolutions, how in your face are they?

Thanks for reading,

Katie XO
